Welcome
to our modern,
with historical value
Alten Zöllnerhaus
No 37.

Between 1949 and 1963 there were living border guards, who controlled the border to the Netherlands. For war allowance the neighbor community Selfkant was a pawn and under administration of the Netherlands. With the ending 1950s negotiations regarding the return of former German areas started. In 1963 the BRD paid 280 Billon DM to the Netherlands, so Selfkant became the most western corner „Zipfel“ of Germany.

We bought this house in the 1990s and modernised it in personal contribution. We hope, you will feel as comfortable as we did with our growing family. Have a lovely time and get to know our varying „Zipfel“-community.

Right across the street the restaurant Flammerie welcomes you:

We are pleased that you have found your way to our „Zipfel“-community.
